Client: The Herald-Sun

Project: This was a four-page wrap published by The Herald-Sun to preview the 2005 U.S. Open in Pinehurst, N.C. The four pages included a look at the history of the course, the top players, the course layout, and several stories from our writers.

My Role

• Planned out the content and the look of the section
• Compiled the information for the page on the history of Pinehurst No. 2
• Designed all four pages, plus the sports front on the day the preview section was published
• Edited all of the copy and wrote the display type
• Proofread all the pages
