Overview

In 2003, I was working as a designer for the sports department of The Herald-Sun newspaper in Durham, N.C. With Duke, North Carolina, and N.C. State all within 20 minutes of the office, the newspaper had a strong emphasis on ACC sports, and I was in charge of producing that year's ACC football season preview section. I was two years into my professional career and this would be the biggest project I had tackled.
