If you hadn’t noticed, this blog has been on the fritz the last few days, giving the “Error Establishing Database Connection” message intermittently. I’m trying to sort through it. My Web hosting company thinks it may be one too many plugins maxing out the number of database connections allowed, though I’ve tried deactivating and even removing some, to no avail. For now, if you get that error message when you try to access a page on the site, just hit reload a few times. It’ll come up, eventually. Sorry for the mess.

Well, I deactivated some plugins and that seemed to do the trick so far (knock on wood). I’m guessing it’s one of these plugins creating database connections that won’t close, but I don’t know which. In any case, the error messages are gone.
