USEFUL RESOURCES FOR SOME, USELESS RANTS FOR OTHERS

Christmas Glow and Snow

Merry Christmas to all! We’ve spent the past couple days with Courtney’s family in New England celebrating the holidays. We got off the plane at noon on Christmas Eve and spent the afternoon preparing the bulk of the food for the big family gathering that night. Christmas day was spent opening presents and visiting one of Courtney’s aunts. I also found time to walk around the neighborhood a little bit and take some pictures of the snow left over from last week’s snow storm. They got almost 20 inches here, and though a fair amount of it has melted and the roads were mostly cleared, there was still probably about 10 inches left on the side of the road. Having lived in southern climes my entire life, this was more snow on the ground than I’ve ever seen in my life — put together.
