The NCAA Tournament pairings are out, and the online publication Inside Higher Ed has filled out its bracket based on the teams’ Academic Progress Rate, an evaluation of each NCAA athletic program’s academic performance. North Carolina emerges triumphant in this scenario. Maybe that’s a good omen for my Tar Heels. This time of the year, I’ll take any good omen I can get.
