I'm looking forward to Wolverine, too, John. I was a big fan of the X-Men trilogy and hope they revive the franchise at some point. Star Trek, bleh. Already agreed with you before. Paramount trying to squeeze another $200 million out of the franchise. I do not trust J.J. Abrahms after he burned me with Alias. I refuse to watch Lost until its over for fear it will turn stupid.
As for Watchmen, I read the book just this weekend. I liked it, not loved it, but I don't see how they could make a compelling movie out of it. They could string scenes from the novel together but I don't know if the movie can successfully attain its own identity. I'd be curious to see though.

I disagree. I think the trailers for the new Star Trek look great. I'm not a die hard Trek fan, but I am really looking forward to this next installment.

Did you know that the son of the original Scotty has a role in this?

Just checked out the 'Watchmen' trailer. One word: DROOL. The fidelity to the book portends well, and I loved Rorschach's throaty voice.
