After all, fans are going to see the movie no matter how terrible it sounds, so maybe the marketing department was trying to get a different audience interested in the film (which, to judge by the trailer, is an audience of 13-year-old boys). Well, one can hope, anyway. I'm fearing that the movie will come out looking like a generic action flick with characters who just happen to be named Kirk, McCoy, and Spock. I'm not in the least impressed by the underwear model they've got playing Kirk (Kirk's supposed to be paunchy, people! Paunchy!), though their choice for Spock is credible, at least in terms of looks. And kiddie Kirk was just annoying. Why is he driving a 300-year-old car, anyway? I'm hoping Leonard Nimoy's involvement is a good sign, but I suspect his role will be little more than a cameo. This looks like dreck. Why can't we get the Worf movie we desperately deserve? Agreed.
