2013
- Received the Joy R. Gibson MATC Cohort Award, which recognizes the member of the Master of Arts in Technology and Communication cohort who most exhibited the qualities that help make a cohort successful, such as peer support, collaboration, and leadership. The winner is selected by the students.
- Inducted into Kappa Tau Alpha, a college honor society that recognizes academic excellence and promotes scholarship in journalism and mass communication. Membership must be earned by excellence in academic work.

- Helped Koroberi, Inc. earn a spot among the top 100 business-to-business agencies in the nation as named by Crain’s BtoB Magazine, the leading business marketing publication in the US.
